Your warranty runs as standard for 24 months from the date you took delivery of your Refurb® product unless an extended warranty has been purchased.
Your warranty covers sudden problems with your product, such as a hard drive that doesn't work, a PC that suddenly won't start and similar hardware-based problems. The guarantee does not cover self-inflicted damage, such as dropping it or liquid spillage.
The warranty covers 24 months on hardware in the product, apart from the battery. Battery and power supply are covered for 12 months after purchase, and this shorter coverage is due to the fact that these items are consumables that are not normally covered under warranty on IT because they are expected to deteriorate over time.
However, you are covered for 12 months on your Refurb® product, and your battery warranty covers that the battery can maintain a minimum capacity compared to a new battery. You can read more about this under our descriptions of Grades here in the FAQ.
